Honestly, we are always thankful for Valentine’s Day because January is notoriously slow in the shop, as it is for all retail stores, and Valentine’s Day gets things moving again. For small businesses, this is a pretty important holiday, but historically, it hasn’t been a holiday for everyone. We acknowledge the potential for mixed emotions and want to honor those who may be experiencing an increased sense of sadness or loss.
