Join us for a fun and hands-on weaving workshop where you’ll learn the basics of creating small weaving. In this class, we’ll guide you through the foundational techniques of weaving, how to create shapes, textures, and by the end, you’ll leave with the confidence to take on your own weaving projects at home. We’ll have a rainbow of yarn options to choose from, and you’ll get to keep your laser-cut loom to use for future projects.

This workshop is perfect for beginners, and no experience is necessary.

Meet Your Instructor:

This workshop is taught by Savannah of Savvie Studio. Savannah is a maker and art educator who is living and learning in Denton, Texas. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in Visual Art Education Studies. Savannah is passionate about sharing art making practices with others, as she believes that working with ones hands is a therapeutic and empowering act. When Savannah isn’t working in her studio or teaching a workshop, she can often be found hiking with her three dogs, or getting lost in a good book.
