Join us as we learn to make modern, beautiful baskets! This is a satisfying process with tangible, useful results. Our instructor will walk you through a step by step process that can be easily repeated and customized on your own. Students will go home with a finished basket and with instructions on what we learned in class.

Meet Your Instructor:

This workshop is taught by Savannah of Savvie Studio. Savannah is a maker and art educator who is living and learning in Denton, Texas. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in Visual Art Education Studies. Savannah is passionate about sharing art making practices with others, as she believes that working with ones hands is a therapeutic and empowering act. When Savannah isn’t working in her studio or teaching a workshop, she can often be found hiking with her two dogs, or getting lost in a good book.
